The first stop will be the marvelous Mae Kajan Hot Springs where the naturally steaming water is hot enough to boil eggs! Next, head over to visit three countries at once at the Golden Triangle. The countries of Thailand, Burma and Laos meet amid rolling hills. Their borders are defined by the mighty Mekong River’s convergence point with the Ruak River. Why not soak up the scenery on an optional boat ride along the Mekong River. You’ll also have the chance to learn more about the “golden”, or opium, behind the region’s name.
